A true conservative (smaller government, pro long term business, equality for all, get government out of the bedroom) could take the country by storm.
Drop the nutty anti-woman stuff, adopt immigration since the US was and is powered by the hope of people coming here, and focus on the economy, stupid. I know it would be hard to get through the insanity of the primaries but this approach would play to the right, center, and some of the left. McCain had some of this until he jumped the shark.
Who will step up next and offer a fact-based policy rather than faith-based?
