Everything Apple Tried to Kill Today at WWDC
iCloud is coming, Dropbox is dead! Well, no. iCloud looks like it’s getting better. That’s good as it is basically a backup agent now.
But it’s expensive. And you can’t share to non-Apple people. Those are real problems. Apple has not exactly executed in the cloud very well. If I were Dropbox I’d simply keep doing what got me here: keep building a service that solves real problems.
Am I the only one who recalls the furor over Gdrive? And Google is good at services.
Oh yeah… and how much trust *should* you give Apple after the iMessage/lockin debacle?
