Injuries are no fun

It’s brutal getting old, injuries take forever to heal. The
groin/abductor pull I have is limiting my workouts as well as bugging
me in simple things like walking. I managed a light lifting routine this morning: overhead squats,
deadlifts, some other random lifting… until my leg felt bad and I
quit and stretched for a bit.

I lifted weights this morning, good. Still hampered by my groin/abductor pull, bad. Injuries like this are
a plague as I age. They take forever to heal.

Breakfast

Weight is up, health is low, fitness is off. So what do I do? Return
to basics. Breakfast was a three-egg omelette with a little leftover
carne asada. Two espressos, a multi-vitamin, and a decongestant round
out the morning. Thinking of doing the new 21 day primal challenge in November. I’m
skeptical there is anything new there but regimen tends to work well
for me when I lose my way.
