While living in France and Switzerland I keep track of the things the US is still winning at. We still hold a substantial lead in Mexican food for instance.And popcorn… Europeans just don’t get it. All the popcorn they sell is sweet. Huh, salted, buttered popcorn is the way god intended it. Sweet is, well, wrong. Sure, kettle corn in the US is sweet but a) it’s hot and fresh and b) it’s still wrong.
